wow seefy. its been a long time since i've logged on. im just going to say the usually praise that i normally give you.....
DAY-UM!! THIS IS BEAST!!

Yeah she kinda look tired. But she has a nice mouth xD (is not so nice if you are going to be detailist, but if you simplify it, it can be cool). Well no idea how is draw someone, so bye (I have never draw a model, so no idea what are the features ones should search in the model).

Also Decemnber 6th was my birthday, so clearly you dressed fancy for me.

○ Sotta: WHICH MAKES HER TOTALLY INTENSE. You can't even deny. Come one--try it. OH WAIT, YOU CAN'T. XD
○ Error: She's 30-something. I like the tired look. I mean, she's definitely not a conventional beauty, by any means, though. Thanks. :)

She look kinda old and tired =/ How old is she?

Also, nice photoshoped pictures lol.

She has very sharp features! Her whole visage appears to be a concentration of sword tips.

○ Matt: Lol, thanks. I suppose the legs look alright the way they are right now, but they just drove me nuts because I couldn't draw them the way I had originally planned to. D|
○ Sketty: Thank you! :) <333 It's Zi's character; I think she's great. Her face ended up looking a weeee bit like the Swedish singer Robyn (maaaan, I love Robyn). Actually, if I had to pick a person that looked the most like Septi, it'd definitely be her. Robyn's unconventional features are really quite nice.

The lady in the 3rd pic down is very very pretty!

Thanks, Ego! I only have a few male characters that don't have prominent noses, because when I make them normal-sized, well. They look like little girls. XD

○ Ego: Thanks! And yeah, I started doing it after I saw a few other artists try it out. It's good practice with fullbodies and clothes. I can't draw myself worth crap, but that's alright. XD
○ Wonder: Yep, Ego is right. Just practice shading from realism. :D
○ Matt: Lol, thank you. XD In fifth grade I would draw folds over and over and over again to get them right. And I don't dress like that every day. I'm not what people would call a put-together person. I just wear whatever I feel like. Some days, the outfits are nicer than others. Most days you just get jeans and a t-shirt, though, haha.
○ Umber: I hate trying on pants. It's hard to find ones that fit well, no matter what size. D: The trial-and-error process of brand and cut is just painful.

I sketch so messily--forgive, forgive, forgive.

1. Ick sketch of Arba. Was thinking of Ben Kingsley at that moment, and my idea of Arba got totally eroded. XD
2. The top here is the Master Historian, a character from a short story I wrote about a metaphysical man who had the ability to change history. Thinking back, the writing in the story was rubbish, but I like the idea still. Then below the Master Historian is Tessa Stone's character, {...} from her comic Hanna is Not a Boy's Name. HiNaBN is a crazy-amazing comic, and I totally love {...}. He's hot; don't judge.
3. Zi's character Septi. I made her clavicle tattoos parallelograms because I like those better than rectangles. :B (Not gonna lie.) You can also tell that I've been watching WAY too many Robyn music videos, 'cause it kinda looks like her. >.>
4. On the left is Fate, who comes from the same story that the Master Historian is from. Fate knows peoples' fates (harhar, original naming in this story is a theme) and goes behind the Master Historian's back and shuffles history around a little bit. On the Right is Frei. I like this version of her face better. I have a thing for drawing female square jaws.XD

Hey, i totally dig your newest piece.. i think you just discovered a trend XD.. or atleast a good practice technique. (mostly cause ima draw mahself and what I wore etc etc now) lol..

@Wonder: Just pay attention to real life studies, the way shadows fall, how light wraps around an object.. this is all used in both cell shading and soft shading. It's not the technique you use, but how you use the technique. I mean there's a lot to look at, cast shadow, reflected light, local color, local tone, reflected color, reflection, refraction... tons of stuff.
