Source was a photo by Marcus J. Ranum (http://mjranum-stock.deviantart.com/) but I couldn't find it. D: But still, his stuff is good so check him out. I don't like how empty the picture feels. Also his left arm looks incredibly odd. I do like the grass though, which was inspired by a wall painting done Takehiko Inoue you can find on google by simply typing his name. This is gonna be for my silk screen print in class.

Ignore the awful pose. This was meant as a basic armor design. Ideas on how to make it look cooler are appreciated.

Is the skirt on that armor metal or something else? Because if it's metal, I think it should be pleated.

It's the bottom of a german officer's uniform but I don't think I pulled it off very well.

Gabo what type of armour would typically cover forearms?

for the second picture you could add bigger shoulderplates, more colors like dark red or dark green or dark purple . And if you want something futuristic add some light green small "tubes" that look like it keeps the soldier alive, you could place them at the postion of the heart and belly button. Or something like iron man what shines around, i got so many ideas i'll hope they're useable. You also could add some integrated weapons in the lower arms thing like buzz lightyear, and the same like buzz that he could open a part to be accesible to a build in computer. AND AND AND blah blah blah possibilities are endless!

You know, I was actually looking at your pic and trying to think of a way to fix that. I was thinking you could have bracers of something just on the outside of the forearm just kind of strapped there, or you could connect the handguard with the armor and turn it into some wierd guantlet thing. Either way, I'd segment it like the platemail on the chest to give it more of a theme.

cool face concept on the armor. I think he needs bigger shoulder pads (just an idea) , and more detailed shin guards. Im not sure if the tube in the back of his neck fits the general style of the armor :/ ... But IDK. Theres alot options for this
