Err... Presently I have 2,158 words and Chapter 2 has begun.

AGH, I missed the first day of writing! I worked late and didn't wake up till 2 PM on the first, then I played Oblivion for the rest of the day.

Now I need to get at least 10k words when I get home. Maybe I could revamp Naomi's story, or start on Lauren's. Probably the latter. Naomi's story has too many bugs in it (like a game).

My home situation's the opposite of Seefy's. My dad's encouraging me to write as much as I possibly can, both for a Writer's Digest contest AND for NaNoWriMo.

Don't strain yourself for 10k. I'd say go with a much easier target of 3k. Then again, I'm sure you're doing more than us with that WD stuff. Bah, I dunno anymore.

My current word count is just bruising 2000. >> I need to write another thousand before tomorrow!

I've written a ton more today, hurrah, but I'm unsure of the exact word count.

I was wondering: how many of you have focused on having a punchy beginning? I wasn't really centered on making a really cool beginning, but I do like how it turned out. (It starts in a bathroom. ;D)

Oh, and Matt, don't wiry about being behind in NaNo. Dan from Writing Excuses isn't able to start until SATURDAY and is still going to try to do it. D8!
