I was just thinking in bed last night as I fell asleep,
When we die what happens, obviously our body shuts down and all that, but what about our brain and stuff. How can we suddenly not exist any more. How can we see, smell, hear, touch and taste and then for it to suddenly stop, and then for everything to to disappear. Our lives do not exist, we cannot see anything, we cannot speak, or even move but we don't know we can't because we're dead. But then what the silly goose happens there, are we reborn or do we never see this earth again.. do we go somewhere else, or..
The whole things sends my spiralling around in confusion, silly goose!

Our souls are sucked back into the lifestream, and we return to Mother.

But how do we know, no one can ever remember, and if all our memories are wiped, where do they go?

Welll...see about that. You won't remember, you won't remember anything. Once you're dead, you're dead, black screen. Sleep forever.
What may happen is that you're simply reset. You know, born as someone else, a past life? all that stuff. But you won't remember.

Although I like the fact of forever sleeping and rotting away slowly in a box, cuz if I'm reborn it'll be in the future. And we all know the future is balls.

You say black screen, sleep forever. But since we're dead we cannot sleep our body has shut down and we cant see black because it is simply lack of light and our body is dead, thus meaning we cannot see, meaning light or no light is irrelevant.

Either way, once you die, you're dead and that's that. Unless this heaven silly goose thing IS real...then I'm screwed.

Yeah I've wondered about that too. Also who here believes in god, personally I sit on the fence a bit..

For quickness of loss of senses depends on what killed you.
As for what happens after, I would assume a whole lot of nothing or perhaps there is a "soul" then I have no idea.

How can nothing happen, the world has to go on. And what is nothing, we're dead meaning we have not senses so we cant interact with it or even see it, not even know its there.

Well...agnostic basically means you havn't chose yet lol. You'll believe it when you see it.

Nothing as in you will not sense anything your corpse will do whatever (rot, burn, freeze etc.) happen to it.
