I always do rant threads about movies and all that stuffs. So why not make only one thread about movies?

Well I did, this is, be happy and enjoy.

And at first discussion of the movie thread:
-Tarantino's did a pick of his favorite movies of 2010, where he pick:
1) Toy Story 3.
2) Social Network.
3) Animal Kingdom.
4) I Am Love.
5) Tangled.
6) True Grit.
7) The Town.
8) Greenberg.
9) Cyrus.
10) Enter The Void (“Hands down best credit scene of the year … Maybe best credit scene of the decade. One of the greatest in cinema history.” – QT)

As you can see, there is no Inception (oh glory, someone with common sense) and neither Balck Swan (for my is the winner movie of the year) or Buried, among others movies.
Also I don't like some of his picks (robin hood? how to train your dragon? tangled? we have many other movies better than this).

So what do you guys think?

Also well yeah, phatom menace was awful -.- (like the mario brother movie).

He does avatar too. They're really good critiques if you can stomach the weirdness of his voice and the fact that he is like a murderer. The star wars trilogy prequels are his best critiques and are worth watching.

I happen to love Phantom Menace and the Mario Bro. Movie...I dunno lol

Scott pilgrim really deserved a spot. Even if it paled in comparison to the books, the overall style was really refreshing, and was still a great movie. I like that he got Get Him To the Greek on there. Got scott pilgrim and GHTtG on dvd for christmas, and there two of my favs for the year. How to train your dragon was a pretty good movie. But god I hated tangled and Robin Hood only had like, two interesting scenes.

Also, on the star wars topic I prefer the prequel trilogy to the originals in terms of action(and I don't notice any of the "plot holes" that most people seem to complain about when it comes to the comparison, and I'm an incredible star wars geek so...). The starfighter battles in the originals were the only good battles. Characters were undoubtedly better in the originals I'll give them that.

In other movie issue:
There are named the nominated for the Razzies (price for worst movies of the year) and in the list it appear: The Bounty Hunter, Clash of the Titans, The Expendables, Grown Ups, jonah Hex, Killers, The Last Air Bender, Little Fockers, Sex and the City 2, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Vampires Suck and Yogi Bear.

To be honest I think all this films are winners for me in this category.

Oh also the Razzie has added a new category: Worst 3D movie, where is nominated Piranha 3D, The Nutcracker 3D and Resident Evil: Afterlife.

Wow also The Times says Burlesque (imitation of moulan rouge and chicago) is for worst screenplay, worst director, worst supporting actor, worst supporting actress and worst actress.

And even, I'm more happy to know that Angelina Jolie is nominated for worst actress for The Tourist (yeah she is hot, but man, she is making the same rols over and over again. She is like a hot female version of adam sandler).

I wish people would leave The Nutcracker alone. They're trying to ruin it with crappy movies and crappy modern renditions (one that really sucked won on some TV channel last year.) There's no way anyone can beat Rudolf Nureyev as the Nutcracker. So just give it up.

I also agree that Angelina Jolie is overrated. People only like her because of her big lips. Sometimes she's an okay actress, but it's hard to get around her insanity.

Has anyone else seen enter the void? I've been meaning to watch it for a while. I'm gonna watch it with some mates of mine on Friday, and I was just wondering what other's thought about it.

Jolie was awesome in Tomb Raider and....yea, that's all I remember.
