Has anyone seen this movie? My instructor said the 3-D graphics of it is second to only that of Avatar, also said it was worth the watch. I was wondering what do some others think about its graphics.

Nope, haven't seen it. Haven't seen Avatar either. Just Clash of the Titans and Alice in Wonderland. The 3D in Alice in Wonderland was ok. It was done better in other movies I've seen.

What really sucks is that they're charging extra for the 3D experience. They didn't do that before. :\

I saw Avatar for free and I took about 15 of those super nice 3D glasses they offer and ask you to return.

And I think they charge extra for the 3D because the projection thingy is waaaay different than the regular film reel and it costs extra to run and maintain the 3D magic machine.

I saw a thing about it on ABC World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer.

What are you going to do with all those glasses? Unless you have one of those new 3D TV sets, what's the point?

...I prefer the age old "They want to make money" reason. ;D

I want to see it, but I don't think I'll like it that much. I'll probably be overly critical on their views on Vikings XD

I went and saw it with my g/f ^.^

I believe a lot of a movies graphics is more than just making it look right, it's the animation too... and the animation of the main dragon was really impressive. Extremely expressive, though i wonder if they used the basis for a large feline for the body movements, and a canine for the head and facial interactions o.0... very complex and awesome to watch from a scholastic point of view ^.^

You can't the glasses used to watch avatar is made differently from other 3-D glasses, because Avatar's 3-D was also made different. They won't work on other shows and movies. Plus those 3-D tv won't require glasses because they are made using a technique that is more closers to the way the human eye sees. Or something like that. To better understand the crap you would have to talk to my instructor, he could tell you everything from the cost to exactly how the 3-D is different, to the effing polygon count of the characters.

I dislike the art style but I don't watch kids films anyway.
