Hey, I'm looking for weapons from somewhere in the mid-evil time for some characters that I'm making for a story. Any suggestions?

Mid-evil? Do you mean medieval? Um. I guess there's something like a halberd. Also, moving this to D&T.

Does it have to be European?

It can be from wherever you want, just make sure you mention what area its from if you know. And yes I meant medieval, and it doesn't necessarily need to be at that time. It can be before, or after. I'm just looking for an interesting weapon that isn't a gun.

Wait, you want unnusual weapons or just weapons with unnusual shapes?

The Romanian Killij is kinda weird, same with the roman gladiator's siccae(sp?), and the chinese(i think) Tonfa, which essentially is/looks like a night stick, only you hold the branching pole.

I don't really mind if its unusual or not. I was just going for weapons that are not common that I wouldn't already know of.

What do you think would be an interesting weapon against double daggers?

Matchlock rifle.....

Romanian hand-cannons. Spiked wooden clubs with a small (but still lethal) firearm functon. Tridents are also kinda weird weapons.

Florentine (two rapiers) or a rapier and a dagger are both interesting when fighting against two daggers. Depending on the fighters, it can be a very interesting fight.

hm... Would something like half of the size of a rapier and a dagger be good? Cause the peerson I have in mind would probably use short range weapons with speed.
