Most of the time, if you're stuck for ideas is to look at magazines, images, illustrations, manga, nature, animals, and anything that can inspire you.
Anyways, you have choices at least with hair if you can't make different eyes. For example, you can make the hair short, long, in ponytails, spiked, straight, curly, and so on.

Pretty much what Rio said. Watch your favorite manga shows, and pay close attention to the design of the characters.

It can't be that terrible. I mean, there's a lot of beginner's sending their art to our Your Art Gallery. I bet some of them are like your drawings right?

Haha maybe? I think I kept it. I just feel really embaressed because it's really bad compare to the stuff I have referance pictures for and I wasn't ver creative for the clothes, not that good with perspective either XD lol but I tried and it's the thought that counts? Lol

Here's a tip for creative drawing: take something very popular/easy/well-known, and throw a twist into it. For example, a lot of characters have spiky hair. If you can draw the basic spikiness, try changing it in your own way: some 90 degree angles maybe, or splits. Basically, it can't be wrong because it's your own design! I can't help you with HOW to draw 'cause I'm not very experienced. But I am good with creative ideas. The best thing to do when your stuck is grab tons of sources of inspiration, and try to smash 'em all up with your own flair.

Also, try listening to cool music, whatever you like. Images often come flowing into your head, and before long BOOM! Ideas.

You're new to this, right? That isn't bad at all. I don't have much to say, but I couldn't help but notice that your tears are as big as the person's eyes. but keep up the work :) From what you were saying, I was expecting something far worse. You're better than you give yourself credit for.

Thank you :) I will be sure to make my tears smaller next time I draw someone crying. It's easier when I draw A side view so that's why I drew it that way...I started off drawing the hair in like the big wavy strands but turned it into that in the end

Yeah that's pretty good, you even had the clothing move with the wind.

Depending on your style, you're going to need to study or observe anatomy to some degree. The drawing above is more deformed and stylized, which is fine and a legitimate style, but if you are looking for something more standard human-shaped anatomy and proportions are important. No matter what, learning the basic shapes that make up a person gives you a huge advantage.

Your definetly right about that. I am getting an anatomy book soon so be sure to look for improvement :)

One other thing. Watching people and how they move IRL can also help, although it's kinda hard to do without being a creep. For faces, hands, or still poses I either use a mirror or ask a family member, they're usually willing.
