It's looking pretty good so far. You should use Google Translate for names. For example, a character in my manga has the last name Moordenar (MORE-DEH-NAHR) which is dutch for murderer/slayer. Wouldn't you know the bastard comes from a family of assassins?

Think of a characteristic (physical or otherwise) that really stands out in a character and just run with it.

The title's cool to me, but it should ALWAYS be written as "BANG!" Psy_____ could work too, I guess.

I say create your own name like for one of my series', my dude is named Rohjerion, which is Delkan (the fictional world) for Retribution. He gives 'evil' people what they 'deserve' (ahem death). But it took me a few year to fully develop a fictional language (which may have been pointless -.-') so that's up to you. If you are going to use a Japanese name, I'd say you should relate it back to the concept of the story. For example one of my (male) characters is called 'Rei' and he is strongly associated with the Law and he Strives to uphold it and keep enemies at bay. I hope this gave you a moderate insight. you could try old names in latin, greek or some biblical names for main characters with powers. it would be fun if there was a town in which people don't have powers and get invaded or something, so THEY are the ones trying to find out what is up with the rest of the planet having those powers. would make the plot more interesting and war-like, while giving it a humane side with the main characters.

I want to keep the names short because shorter names are easier to remember, and you want people to remember your charachter more, right?

OKAY TIME FOR A PLOT FIX. So I hope this makes as much sense as I want it too.

I'm keeping that part about how the people on the planet got their powers, but instead the World Government is going to be more blatant about it. Because of the people with powers being shunned and feared the government took them in and use them as lab rats. Vires( that's his name now) is with his parents, hiding in secrecy, so they are not caught by the governement. After the little fiasco when Vires accidently kills his friend, the government chases after them. The citezens of the planet dares not to retaliate against the new goverment they have on their planet because, they feel that the government keeps all balance from the world being destroyed by war and famine.

Now, the plot sort of makes more sense. I just need to give the World Goverment a fancier name, and a name for the people who have powers. I'm thinking, The Untouchables, because A) those guys from india, right? and B) the first person to be discovered with these freaky powers has the power to melt stuff. Freaky, right?

Melt stuff FTW lol. When naming the World Govt, you should make the name all-caps and with dots after each letter. H.I.V.E., F.I.S.T., etc.

And Untouchables is cool, but I think you can do better. Here are some suggestions off the top of my head:

Illustrado (Spanish for enlightened), Meruto (Japanese for melt), refuzoj (Albanian for reject), etc.

Untouchables is actually pretty clever. People (Indians) would probably take offense to it, but who isn't offended by stuff like that. Then again, I'm not Indian, so what do I know?

I've also been thinking on another story. I wanted to do a manga interpretation of Billy the Kid. Is there a manga out there like that anyway? And since it will be manga, some parts(ALL) will be historicaly incorrect. xD

Most (if not all) manga, anime, film, and movies never 100% historically correct/accurate (unless stated otherwise, like documentary movies). Even movies that have words "Based on True Stories" have lots of coating to make the movies interesting.

This feels like Pokemon. xD Anyway, I need to make more ideas for the categories. And I keep making plot changes. I'm thinking of making Vires not be aware of his own powers actually.

Summary: His stepfather runs the prison where they keep the untouchables. Lance holds a deep grudge for his father. After killing his mother for her estate and sexually abusing him, he's become one unhappy camper. His stepfather is even currently using him as a guinea pig for all the tests at the facility once he knew his kid was an Untouchable.

The only thing to decide about Lance is if I should add more things(torture) his character more. Like, should I make him privliged at the prison where he meets Vires, or a prisoner himself?
