I'm posting this because I need a different point of view other than my siblings. So I started my first manga called A.W.F.T.O.O.L.L.
Then I decided to put that on hold in order to make a shorter manga ‘Chibi Force’ needless to say I got so wrapped up into it that it turned out being longer than the first one. So I decided to merge the first manga with a manga I’m making about my siblings. They of course detest me for supposedly ‘slandering’ their images but who cares? Anyway I want to know if this sounds like any other manga.

Note- My characters are based off of animals.
Can’t give too much info, don’t want to spoil it when/if I get it published.

Main Characters- Neko-Chan, Raba-Chan, Ookami-Chan, Nameless-Chan, and Kuma-chan.

NEW DESCRIPTION-
After her drawings are destroyed by her siblings, a girl angrily strikes at them with her ‘enchanted pen’ (unknown to her of course) and unintentionally sends them into her story, its up to her and them to work together although they our in different worlds to reverse the effect of the pen and story, changing the outcome to escape back to the real world alive.

EDIT- BELOW IS THE ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION THAT WAS SLIGHTLY CRAPPY.

Spoiler! :
First arc- My main girl Neko-chan(Yeah that’s me!) sends her sibling into her manga after repeating the actions of one of her manga characters, which was saying the ’magic words’ and attacking them with a pen
(NO STABBING) now it’s up to her to get them back and save the day! But this manga isn’t about ’her’ its about ‘them’ so she ends up with the same fate as her manga character, being forced to read her siblings lives as they live her characters life’s. I still have to work out the kinks in this part of the arc, but her siblings basically have to go through silly goose in order to finish the story and go back to the real world.
Simple?
No.
Insert shocking plot twist, awesome comebacks, cool fights and a major mistake that takes us into the next arc!
Well that’s it for now, I know I suck at writing out the plot description, but I did my best, tell me what you think and if you would read!

One more thing, 'Nameless-Chan is one of my siblings that I never knew, but really wanted to incorparate him, so if you have any suggestions for a personality or animal just let me know!

Thanks!

You really need to give your characters more interesting sounding names. In addition, non-Japanese sounding names work best if your audience's primary language is English.

In regards to your description, I really didn't understand it so I can't tell if it's good or bad.

I'll try to make it more plain and simple, like I said, I'm bad at descriptions :)
Oh and those aren't their names! I just call them by the animals which repersents them because I'm stilll working on the names:)

In regards to the name, I would disagree. It sounds like your manga is more comical than it is serious so having kind of silly simple names wouldn't hurt. The only thing I would warn you about (if you were really serious about getting a wide audience range) is to change the japanese names to english silly names. i often do silly stuff involving my friends but I generally like to keep it close and exclusive to the people mentioned. However if you want to spread your comic to the outside world and even say get it published then your publishing editor would probably tell you to change the japanese names to english. Otherwise keep the names if this is an inside joke but vice versa otherwise. What I would do is to take your real siblings names and just make them sound cute like Jessica =Jessie.
As for your plot. I'm going to try to guess what you were trying to say: You have a magical pen and imitating a magical girl scene "accidentally(?)" send all your siblings into your manga alongside your own character where they have to live out the plot in order to get out of your manga story. And you stay outside reading about them correct?

Your suggestion of using cute names, like Jessie, was what I was getting at. Simply naming your character 'Cat' or 'Bear' isn't as interesting, in my opinion, if you have humans (or human-like beings) as the main characters regardless of what language you use. (Pets I consider to be an exception since the name usually originates from the owner's tastes, whether they be good or bad.) If you have the ability to be creative in creating stories, then you should have at the very least the ability to come up with names that are much more interesting. Even if you don't want to give your characters realistic names, however, you do have the option of doing a play-on-words to make a name that you can feel satisfied with.

Bingo!
Thanks for the advice...but I like to mix japanese names and english names within my manga. And I want to keep the whole 'cat' and 'bear' thing, I mean my main guys are practically animals. So I mix their trait's with their animal to get the name. Rin (Cold) + Neko (Cat) = Rinneko (Cold Cat)
and it really isn't a comedy, it may have funny points in it but it gets darker.

and again. srry bout' the terrible description, I had to type it really fast and for the most part I just suck at descriptions!

Kind of similar to InkHeart if you've ever read it. But, like in reverse.

It's a good book and has some similarities to yours but I wouldn't recommend getting ideas from it.

If it becomes darker than no… I don’t recommend using names like Rinneko at all. I would even strongly suggest not to use Japanese names. A dark light-hearted story must have a strong background foundation. A comical story that turns dark is better off being more realistic and slightly down to earth. Point is, realistic drawings plus realistic story background is better. Look at Deathnote, it’s half fantastical but still portrays the unreal elements like it was reality.
