Hi there, just wondering if you could do a tutorial on body proportions (length of arms, legs, etc). Thanks. The other tutorials are excellent, though! A few more on shading would be great. :)

this is something more of in the ask a mod section? as yes shading would be nice. the tutorials we have covers most of the basics. maybe you guys should try to make more and put them into sections. no rush or anything >_>

Shading tutorial

As for more tutorials - yeah, I'll be making more advanced tutorials soon. It's going to be a mix of tutorials I will be posting up from anatomy, writing, CGing, life in a japanese school (my own articles this time). If you have a tutorial suggestion, drop by here and make your suggestion. You can also email or PM me.

I was thinking of background and foreground integration. Honestly i find it tricky like how to make a scene proportional and logical. Its kinda hard to explain.. Nosebleed! :D

It's perspective. Technically speaking, the farther something is, the smaller they are in proportion to the object closest to you. Your best bet to accurately depict this is using perspective but simply following the rule I mentioned (far things = small; big things = closer) will generally do the job. ...Unless you're talking about integrating people into the background?

Yeah, I forget about this place for weeks at a time, and then go "Oh, crap, look what I'm missing out on!" :) Just like this time!
