I want to make a topic about Radical Dreamers, a game for the snes which was originally written Japanese, but has an English translation in the form of a rom. (The only way to play the game in english is through the translated rom, as no other translation currently exists.)

Would it be against the rules to post a link to the rom? Or so I have to go with "This exists, feel free to look for it"

Instead of linking to roms in the forums, why not google it? And of course, linking to roms is illegal to many forums.

People can just Google for the link, term, or site that they are looking for if they want it badly enough. You don't have to post a link to the rom or any other questionable site from here at all.

But yeah, it's often stated in the terms and conditions when you sign up for web hosting that any illegal activity (and other things like hate, violence, silly goose, etc) will pretty much end your agreement with the hosting and they can terminate your account because of it.
