This article is a bit more indepth but its a fox news article and i know allot of people dont trust them soooo . . .

Basically what it all boils down to is that ONE man has been cured. There is no treatment for others that is just ready to be administerd. The patient wasnt even being treated for his HIV just his Lukimia (sp?) but a donor who was naturally resistant to HIV/Aids was chosen and this was the result. The transplant took place in 2007 and no sign of HIV/Aids has shown. I think (it doesnt really say) that this "American living in Germany" was threre because it was stemcell research so this isint an american break thru.
The article says that the treatment is very exspensive and very painful (Spinal tap ow) and only 1% of 3% of caucasions of european decent has the mutated gene that makes them imune to hiv/aids.

What do you all think?

Update on the story of that girl who wanted to attend Prom with her girlfriend. She actually had to SUE just to be allowed to have a private prom. I think it's ridiculous. What about you guys?

I had been wondering about that. I remember a judge ruled that the school didnt have to hold the prom after all. But thats just stupid because people go freaking crazy around prom time and spend bucket loads of cash just for it. I hope she isint harassed about this because it wasnt her fault it was the schools for being so closed minded.

Yeah really. I live in Texas and they were more open-minded than this. one of the girls who was a senior when I was a freshman was openly silly goose and the school let her wear a tux not only to prom but for the fancy senior photos we take for yearbook.

Would be nice more people were like this... Unfortunately, they're not. Thanks to particular one specific person who started a one specific 'cult' claiming that they have the rules for live... But this is a rather generalizing statement and shouldn't be even said as it's far too much generalizing to push the responisibility of the human ignorance upon a one specific 'cult'.

You see the more i hear about Texas being open and accepting the more hope i get for the rest of the world. It allso reassures me that we are near the apocalypse.
