So this is still in the works but if someone could PLEASE red line the hands for the unfinished character i'd love you forever :] and i'll even do a complete xmas piece for you. this picture is being made as a surprise gift to a friend tht is really important to me. So I'd love to give it my all. Also can anyone give me some tips as to hour to do strands of hair...? this is so much harder than i thought it'd be XD

With Umbreon, I tried a new technique to make the rings glow. And by description, they requested that Umbre's rings be etched like diamonds....

I'm trying the different techniques like the glow effect and drawing fur. I really wish i knew how to make the fur look raised, and more real.

I think you should add more light and dark lines in Umbreon's fur, keeping the light source in mind. you can also try and use a tad bigger brush to put in which way the fur is going, and then define the fur with a smaller brush (hopefully that makes sense)

If that didn't make any sense at all, heres a tutorial I found that uses the same idea I'm trying to explain

i really do appreciate the help :] I tried going back and doing something about Umbreon's fur but may layers are too mixed up to peacefully sort it out. But I do want to practice on future items.

Also here is Ralts. From descriptopn, she's got berries floating about her so I chose Pecha Berries to enhance her cuteness. XD

The fact that Ralts dont have eyes (that we can see) might, also, be a problem.
