 Many, many things have happened since your illustrious mod (Am I even still a mod? smiley) last participated here. I lost my job, got engaged, am moving across the state in two weeks, gotta start school soon... The list goes on, and I have no idea what I'm doing. Things will even out soon and life will return to somewhat normal, but until then I'm pulling my hair out.

Seriously, though, why do people expect a soon-to-be bride to feed them so much? Engagement dinner, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, reception... That's a lot of food! I guess if I'm going to be gaining weight from stress, I should pass the joy along to my loved ones.

 Thanks! JJJorgie, apparently some people also have formal teas and stuff leading up to the wedding, and you're supposed to treat whoever accompanies you for dress fittings to lunch or whatever. I'm just like, don't these people eat at home! WTF!
