 Finished for Feing's Contest.
Dynamic poses are fun to draw, sometimes; I'm usually no good at them.
I tried to make a background since I never really do in my pictures; those are supposed to be buildings but they fail...
I also tried to make movement in the picture by having the figure "swinging off the page" if you get it. .w.
Also tried to make nice and reasonable non-gravity defying clothes that flowed in the right direction; I have such a hard time with clothes, fashion, and folds. Dx
Chibi paint, ugh I used to love it so much but now I hate it! I have such a hard time trying to get smooth lines and clean lineart... my lines are so shaky... Dx

 Those were the only folders I used in elementary schooool. Her colors were always so amazing. I don't remember her art at all but I remember the colors. :]
This piece reminds me of a totem pole. Albeit a slightly more demonic totem pole. Your airbrushing skills are fantastic. I like the bright bits of green on the bottom and on the top head. smiley

 ahhh, so many mistakes but i can't make myself work on this anymore oTL (the timer is sadly accurate)

tis a jellyfish, though not one half as classy as himitsu's :s
i just love jellyfish though so i had to (also random fishy)

edit: i almost forgot, my reason for lack of breast detail here is because i can't see why a mermaid would really need them if they don't give live birth? (and i assume they don't since they don't have mammal-style reproductive organs). now going with that logic i am just now realizing that i shouldn't have added any kind of boob at all but oh well ._.

 For Nikki's contest smiley

The female is a handfish mermaid and the male is an axolotl mermaid xD

I decided to write an actual description: Both of these creatures live near the bottom of the oceans, however Axolotls live in MUCH deeper and darker waters. So I drew them near some kind of "ledge" which is why her Tail is behind the sand and rocks. She has this kind of sad/worried kind of expression since Axolotls hae trouble living nearer the surface, and they can't stay there for long. I dunno, sounded cute in my head xD

EDIT1: I finished the lineart. Are you KIDDING ME? The preview isn't working... Oh well, the fullview does
EDIT2: Started coloring!
EDIT3: Finished it, after an epoch of Chibi Paint failing on me and over 4 hours wasted coloring it, twice.

I hope you guys enjoy :3 The title was inspired by what Nikki said to the original xD
